• These are the terms and conditions for the GlasgowBigAd site, which is owned and operated by HendersonStone and Co Ltd which has its Registered Office at Newton House, 457 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, G2 4JB.
• Each square for sale (?) is made up of 100 pixels and costs £30.00 (GBP).
• You may buy as many squares as you wish, until all the squares are gone.
• Upon payment by your company we agree to hold your logo and link on the GlasgowBigAd.com homepage image.
• We intend to maintain the website and homepage image for a minimum of five years, perhaps even longer.
• We will endeavour to implement strategies on an ongoing basis to help GlasgowBigAd.com rise up the search engine rankings to give the site, and those companies featured upon it, the best opportunity to benefit from substantial increases in web traffic.
• We will not link to any site unsuitable for children, or any site we deem to be offensive in any way or that we suspect may be carrying out unscrupulous dealings.
• We will only link to businesses, organisations and individuals offering services and products within the Glasgow area. If you are unsure whether you qualify for our site, please go to the contact page and e-mail us for assistance.
• Should you purchase ad space and your link is not accepted by us, you will be refunded in full other than any credit card or Pay Pal charges incurred through this transaction.
• You warrant that your business is a legitimate business being operated lawfully within the Glasgow area and that your business name, logo, trade mark or any other item provided to us to be incorporated on our site, will not infringe the rights of any third party. You also agree to indemnify us for all losses we incur as a result of a breach of all or any of these warranties and acknowledge that we reserve the right to withdraw, without refund, any link which is subject to an intellectual property infringement claim.
• We reserve the right to suspend any link if they are found not to be in accordance with the above terms and conditions.
• Once your link has been accepted and activated on our website, you cannot claim a refund.
• If, for whatever reason, you want your logo and link removed, you may do that, but you will not be refunded, and the space will become available again.
• Links must be to web pages only and start with http://
• You may change the link to your website with good reason, and not on a regular basis.
• You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit.
• Funds must be received in full and cleared before your ad goes ‘live’ in the ad-space.
• Your ad will go ‘live’ within 24 hours after your payment has cleared.
• Your purchase does not mean you own any part of GlasgowBigAd.com, you have simply paid for space on our ad page which holds your link and image upon it.
• We cannot be held responsible for any denial of service attacks upon this site. In the unlikely event that this should happen, we will endeavour to have the website up and running as quickly as possible.
• There may be short periods when the website will be down for maintenance. We will do our utmost to keep these periods as short as possible.
• We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions to protect the interests of GlasgowBigAd.com and it’s clients.
• You agree that in providing your name, image and/or logo to us for incorporation onto our site that you are granting us a non exclusive, royalty free licence to use such names, logos and links for this purpose. You also agree that we are entitled to use images of the site (incorporating your name, image and/or logo) for merchandising and promotional activities and that such use shall be permitted by this licence.
• For the avoidance of doubt we shall have no right to use your name, image and/or logo separately or for any other purpose not specified in these terms and conditions.
